The Port of Nagoya is a very active and busy port with many in-coming and
out-going vessels. We provide 5 harbor tug-boats to safely assist vessels
berthing alongside the wharf and leaving from the wharf while keeping close
communication with both the captain and pilot onboard. Our harbor tug-boat service is a 24-hour all-weather operation. We do this important job utilizing all our available resources to meet the requirements of vessels calling to the Port of Nagoya, taking pride and satisfaction in our work. |

The photo is of our tug-boat seen proceeding beyond the Nagoya Takashio-breakwater at sunrise to rendezvous with an in-coming vessel. She is keeping close communication with the pilot on board through VHF that will lead to escorting the vessel to a safe berth. | This photo shows a huge 70000G/T container ship and our harbor tug boat just prior to coming alongside the wharf. At this time the crew of the tug-boat require total concentration while receiving instructions of "push" or "pull" from the pilot onboard. |
